DEAR HEAVENLY NOBODY...

You and I are not a million miles apart. Your words have affected my thoughts over the past week.

TO CHRIS ACLAND...

In the chaos of our lives, can we ever find the time to cherish feeling fine?

In the aftermath of pain, can the balance be regained, can we ever be the same...?

A POEM CALLED FAME

Sometimes when I'm all alone,
I'll be who I want to be.
If I do this with other people,
they'll just laugh at me.

I want to sing and bounce about,
upon a stage,
but they suppress their laughter,
and say: "It's her age."

I'll make it though but it'll be tough,
yet I don't care.
As Alanis said: "They'll scan the credits for their name
and wonder why it's not there."

DEAR 'ZINE

Why is it everyone on the 'Zine seems to argue over which type of music is the best?

Everyone says anybody is entitled to an opinion, but as soon as the opinion is expressed they have a go if they don't agree.

Why can't people respect others?

I am thinking of banning any letters

TO DO WITH MUSIC. BUT THEN WHAT...?

SO YOU THINK YOU KNOW MUSIC

Name two songs containing the line "I can't get no satisfaction".

Name two songs that mention American comedian Lenny Bruce.

I'll write in again in a couple of weeks with the answers if you don't manage to get them between you all. (Which you won't because number two is dead hard.)

Till then, happy listening.

AT THE BUS STOP

The bitter chill hung like a whisper in the brittle frosted glass air. I wondered what it would be like to be someone else for just a few seconds.

To have a different set of problems and a different outlook on life. Would I see myself standing there, shivering, searching, for answers?
