ALBUM REVIEW: SUEDE
Over the past year, Suede have received more hype than any other band since the Sex Pistols.
With the release of this album, however, they have proved that they will be around for years to come.
The record oozes with intensity - with Bernard Butler's supreme guitar and piano ability and Brett's heart-rending vocals, it lacks absolutely nothing.
Each of the eleven songs are unique in their own obscure way. The tracks vary from the guitar frenzy of Metal Mickey to the beauty of The Next Life, which features just piano and vocals.
The album opens with So Young, a recollection by Brett of a night from his youth when he and his friends gambled dangerously with drugs - a song that reflects the brilliance of Suede.

VIDEO REVIEW: U2 - Achtung Baby: The Video
The Interference - an excellent compilation of extracts from their Zoo TV tour in Berlin - keeps you glued to the screen from start to finish.
With Bono's vocals, Edge's lead guitar, Adam's thumping bass and Larry Mullens' excellent drumming, favourite songs like One, Acrobat and Even Better Than The Real Thing just come to life.
A definite to add to your collection.
