SUEDE - THE ALBUM

It's here! The eagerly awaited debut with talent at its finest.

Brett's incredible lyrics combined with Bernard's swirling guitar and piano playing make this a stunning debut.

The Drowners is a classic. Other high spots include So Young, Sleeping Pills and the gorgeous Animal Lover.

There is an excellent part on Moving that sounds like a low flying aircraft.

Shirsten, Plymouth.

BEN ELTON - NEWCASTLE CITY HALL

It's been a few years since Ben last graced the stage. Now he's back with material as powerful as ever.

From start to finish (approx 2 hours) Ben had the Geordie audience in hysterics with his views on politics, life and the inevitable toilet gags.

A must for all Elton fans. There are plenty of dates left.

Eileen McCormack, Northumberland.
