CAN'T STAND THE HEAT.
I hate the summer, it's nothing but dumb heat, and irritable stickiness.
It's already begun as I am sat here sweating as I type this. Why? Because for some dumb reason, even though it's about 14C outside, my parents insist the heating is still on.

THE BISCUIT DEBATE
Someone said we need a debate, so "What's the best biscuit?"
Jaffas are excluded, as they are officially cakes, that's a three-hour long argument I don't want to repeat.
I think the best biscuits are Hobnobs, "the marines of the biscuit world" as Peter Kay would say.

MY TRIP TO THE ZOO
I went to the zoo yesterday but it could so easily have ended tragically.
We decided to go see the lions so when we arrived at their den I was shocked and appalled to see someone had thrown a penguin into it.
It turned out OK though because the lion couldn't get the wrapper off!

Ah, your wish is my command. Gemma, who plays Clare in Hollyoaks, also played Nigel's stepdaughter in EastEnders. The 'Oaks bosses thought she could "take the character further".
