How can you call Slipknot a trendy band? Are Pantera a trendy band? How about Sepultura? If that's the case, we might as well say the same about Cannibal Corpse or Cradle Of Filth.
If you listen to Slipknot's music, you'll find that they're as hard and aggressive as any of the other bands I've mentioned.
