You've got a point about only 'stupid' people taking up smoking from tobacco advertising. But unfortunately we live in a world with a lot of stupid people out there.
You do not always learn to smoke from other people. People that are curious will try it if they see it on an advert and one puff is enough to get you hooked on this death stick.
