TO 'ZINERS
It's a funny old world isn't it? Last Thursday Brian Harvey from East 17 is saying that Ecstasy is safe, and it brings out the best in people.
Just hours later his whole attitude on drugs incredibly changed, and he apologised and told kids to stay away from them.
All credit to him for changing his views. Or, heaven forbid, was his apology just a fib?

While trying to remove a CD from the bottom of a large pile, I sent Zeitgeist (Levellers) and The Bends (Radiohead) spiralling to the floor, a vast four feet below.
The Levellers knew Radiohead didn't deserve such a fate and leapt to its rescue.
The Levellers' case was broken in three places. I bow down to the Levellers with deepest respect for this act of bravery.

I'm truly worried about your RadioHEAD
PERHAPS IT'S A BIT UNLEVELLED...!
HEY ZIGGURAT!
WHERE ARE WE NOW? We're still here in Newcastle and we're still as freakish (and, indeed, metallic) as ever!
Nice that SOMEONE remembers us though - we've been in temporary exile ever since WLW stopped printing our letters.
Still, it's probably more important to print pages of trash from AFKA Gonzo than to publish serious letters.

And letters from people called 2 Metal
FREAKS ARE BOUND TO BE SERIOUS...?

When reading your article about whether or not boys like girls to make the first move, I felt obliged to speak out for myself and all my male friends.
Girls, please do! When a girl comes up and asks a boy out it's like a breath of fresh air. My mates would love a girl to make the first move.
Zine, please inform all your female readers that boys aren't all hyper-confident. If you like a boy, ladies, go up and ask!

But don't come crying to me if they
HYPER-CONFIDENTLY TURN YOU DOWN!
