DEAR 'ZINE

How can anybody like Friends? It's just the same as all the other naff sitcoms that come out of America. The script-writers don't know the meaning of wit.

It's not even in the same league as any of these British greats: Red Dwarf, Naked Video, Monty Python, The Fast Show, Men Behaving Badly etc...

Mad Max (angry)

American comedy is completely tacky

BUT THAT'S WHY WE LOVE IT!!!

DEAR BASKET CASE

You asked what "Govinda jaya jaya" meant. Govinda is one of the names of Krishna. He appeared in this form as the eternal youth, representing something beautiful.

It's a prayer to bring heaven down to earth. You can't translate it literally, but it's about being young and in love for ever.

Crispian told me this. We're great mates! (It's not like I read this in NME, honest!)

Mrs Alex James, hanging around

Heaven on Earth... so do you think that

BELINDA CARLISLE HAD THE RIGHT IDEA?

DEAR PEAKY-POPS

I just have to make a complaint about lack of care and attention received when travelling by rail.

I would have been alone, cold and drinking revoltingly weak tea had I not met a gent with a manner so warm and tender that my misery was elevated.

So, as it happened my journey was a pleasure, as I chatted and laughed and drank weak tea (nothing's perfect!).

A kind gent should be provided as standard.

Train-T

A bit demanding, eh? A gent?

WE THINK YOU'RE GOING OFF THE RAILS!

HI BROTHERS AND SISTERS

I've come to spread some cool around here.

The Spice Girls - I dig those chicks: nobody's perfect.

Man, I rave to Rosko on the radio, freak to the words of Caesar the Geezer, get hip when I here Jimmy Young records and think WLW is groovy.

So many dudes nowadays are stuck in a time warp.

'Zinepower. 'Zinepeace.

Donovan's Electrical Bananas

I'm not going to comment. I'm going to

MEDITATE ON THOSE VIBES A WHILE...
