SUPER ANOUSCHKA claims the 50,000 in Old Trafford aren't fans. They're just players poached from smaller clubs who have to sit on the subs' bench. C'mon, Fergie's not that devious, is he?

NICKY'S RICKY thinks Broken Circles might be right about WLW being Jimmy Hill - the 'Zine address is in Fulham. If so, say "we are top of the league".

MRS ORANGE says WLW should get its eyes tested. Oh, I just love it when readers get so, so fruity!

BAGGY, NOT A BOGGIE, REVIVAL. FLAIR!

DEAR THE KIPPER SELLER

I think you deserve to be made fun of if you like the likes of Boyzone and Bon Jovi.

Boyzone are always out of tune and do cheesy grins at every interval.

And Bon Jovi's music is, well, how do I describe it? Rubbish? No. The worst music in the world? No. How about worse than Spice Girls? Perfect!

Just what have we here?

LATIN REVIEW

If you're considering studying Latin at any level, please do. It's not fair I should suffer alone.

Do an introductory course with books Ecce Romani 1 and Ecce Romani 2.

You join Flavia, Cornelia, Sextus and Marcus (four Roman saddos) in exciting adventures, such as sitting under trees and eating grapes.

It's literally edge-of-your-seat stuff!

DEAR AMATEUR PHILOSOPHER

I understand exactly what you mean. I too have many friends, but I still feel alone and left out.

The reason I even have those friends is that when I'm with them I pretend to be someone I'm not. I hate doing this but I feel having no "friends" is a big price to pay for being myself.

The ironic thing is, some of my friends may feel the same, but I'll never find out.

It's stating the obvious, but honesty

IS THE BEST POLICY. COME CLEAN!

DEAR 'ZINERS

Why, in music, do you have to be "working class" to be genuine?

Compare writings about Blur and Kula Shaker to Oasis and Pulp. One magazine even tried to pass Ash off as "working class".

Maybe a "middle class" upbringing ruins the romanticism of a band's rise to fame, but surely class isn't an issue?

DEAR 'ZINE

'Zine lacking controversy? This omelette recipe will bring it back:

  1. Break eggheads into a pan and beat
  2. Add a splash of argument, but no humour or heat
  3. Stir in a naff poem/joke, remembering to stir out all intelligence
  4. Serve with a large helping of WLW, the big-headed one

The only controversy will be the food
