EMMA, LUCY, MAGGIE AND KATY want to wish Paul Leyshon from Hollyoaks a Fantasmagorical belated birthday.

LADY OF THE FLOWERS says: "I love you Noonie. Please, please, please let me see Placebo with you."

FANTOM says hello to all the Zinesters and the yellow blobby thing.

ICE CUBE states Damon Hill is Britain's greatest sportsman. Who else is a World Champion? (A well-known World Champion)

The Bohemian Spiritualist's joke:

WHAT'S BROWN AND STICKY: A STICK!!

DEAR 'ZINSTERS

Does anyone else have the problem of reading the boards behind the contestants on Have I Got News For You and missing the whole show?.

The Wannabe

I'll tell you what you "wannado" -

PAY MORE ATTENTION!

SIX STRING OVERKILL?

Is it just me, or is the entire music industry obsessed with guitar bands? A year ago I was in heaven with it all.

But now I realise there's only so much you can do with a guitar. It's a pity no one else does.

The result - I've bought more drum and bass and jungle this year than indie. Go figure.

The Man Who Flaunts Tears (feeling the sunshine)

I have just one question.

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO WITH A GUITAR?

TO ZINESTERS

People say music is an art of using melodious and harmonious combinations. But to me music is life, because it brings love, harmony and all life could ever wish for.

Music is also understanding people's feelings - this includes pop, rap, blues and jazz.

Ugo Okafor

I'm very concerned, and I think you

NEED TO GET A DIFFERENT LIFE!!!!

DEAR 'ZINE

Someone recently challenged me to name one songwriter of this generation better than Noel Gallagher. Here are 10:

  • John Squire
  • Goldie
  • Tricky
  • Thom Yorke
  • Kurt Cobain
  • Martin Carr
  • Shaun Ryder
  • Nicky Wire
  • Richey James
  • Morrisey (even now he's still better.)

ZINE LIMERICK

We all love a thing called the 'Zine,
with writing of purple and green.
You print every day other merchandise.
Things we have to say.
It's the funniest thing on the screen.

The REAL fan
