THE ALBINO HEDGEHOG says the worst thing about being on holiday abroad is not knowing if your letters get printed on 'Zine. Tough, stay at home then!

TATH says he is all manly, not womanly, as dubiously referred to recently by WLW. Does it make a difference?

BROKEN CIRCLES asks, does Sir Bernard Ingham ever sleep? He presents the Midnight Hour and is then on BBC News at 6.45am. What a guy!

Itchycoo Alba is confused by Countdown

HELP, ALL THOSE LONG WORDS!

DEAR 'ZINE

Instead of reading The Joyrider's letters, here are more interesting things to do:

  • Watch paint dry
  • Watch the (yawn) mid-afternoon Australian soaps
  • Read a Jeffrey Archer novel
  • Gaze at some sheep

Daisychain, mangled and distressed

Now just watch Joyrider trample

THROUGH A FIELD OF DAISIES. STOMP!

DEAR 'ZINE

Don't you just hate it when cashiers put your change on top of the receipt?

I reckon they only do it so you drop it all over the floor. They then later pick up some of the money you won't be able to find.

Either that, or they give you the wrong change and cover the evidence.

Couch Potato, skint 'cause of cashiers

Only gormless people drop their change

IN SUCH FASHION. YOU MUST BE ONE!

DEAR 'ZINESTERS

I just want to ask if anyone else has thought that if Kelloggs Corn Flakes were really packed full of a year's sunshine, then surely there would be a heatwave, even in winter, when someone opened them.

I've yet to test this theory. I hope to do so soon.

The Cereal Killer

More a case of hot air suggestions

THAN SUNSHINE CONCLUSIONS. BAH!

DEAR BEAUTIFUL ATHENA

I agree with you, something has to be done about Adonis before he drives us all mad (i.e. gnashing of teeth, continuous thumping of the remote control, flinging burnt toast crusts at the TV screen).

How about joining our ancient Greek powers and giving him a hard whack on the head to wake up his senses?

DEAR 'ZINE

Respect is due to Stan D'Alone and to all like him. It's the freaks who keep the world in motion.
