CHAMPAGNE SUPERLADA dedicates the following song to The Average Believer: LOSER - Beck

SALLY CINAHMANN wants to know if the Queen Mother will get a telegram from the Queen when she reaches 100.

BEZ'S WORKING TROUSERS I can assure you that I did not teach you Business Studies, Home Economics maybe, but Business Studies never!

MR BORED SILLY ARTY Loved the picture

of me, but may I add that in real

LIFE I AM A LOT MORE GOOD LOOKING!

DEAR ZINE

I'd just like to offer my sympathies to the 14% of A-level students who failed and couldn't turn on the TV cos of people saying how easy the exams were, or of all the people phoning in to tell the nation how they got 3 As by doing no revision.

And if either of the examiners who gave me my E and U turns up to my till at work, don't expect me give you a Boots smile.

Peace, love and hard luck.

E-BOW THE LETTER REVIEW

E-Bow is reminiscent of REM's more uncommercial single "Drive" but still has the beauty of "Country Feedback".

The lyrics make me think of "It's the end of the world as we know it...", or "The Sidewinder sleeps tonite". Sort of like a Stipe shopping list!

Patti Smith adds the finishing touches! YAY!!

Binky the Doormat

Do people still say YAY?

ANSWERS ON A POSTCARD PLEASE!!

YO! ZINESTERS OF THE NATION

You may feel very depressed about going back to school (like I was), but don't despair, here's a list of reasons why it's good to go back to school.

Erm, er, umm.

Well I was going to make a list, but I couldn't think of any....... sorry!

Happy Hippy, feeling sicky at the thought of going back to school

Get that satchel packed now!

A TRIBE CALLED QUEST - 'BEATS RHYMES AND LIFE'

The fourth album comes after a short break from Q-Tip, Ali and Phifa but they've now gone to the next level with the two commercialised tracks being all good.

Keep It Movin is a powerful track acting as a ref to the East vs West madness which has seen some dirty tactics recently.

Q-Tips remixing and producing everything as the big UMMAH deserves respect.

PULSE

C'mon 'Ziners, what do you think?

Dear 'Zine

My little bro says he loves WLW. This might seem silly, but he's two years old.

He heard me talking about 'Zine so much that his first words were "Ziney Good".
