I think it's extremely sad that the Government has so little faith in today's 16/18-year-olds.
Record A-level results, so what conclusions are reached? That students are working harder? Or that exams must be getting easier?!
Do people making these allegations realise how it feels to be told they only got good grades because the exams were too easy?

I go to football matches quite a lot and I wear my team's shirt (not Leeds or Millwall) when I go.
Last Saturday on the bus, a middle aged Asian man accidentally fell into me as the bus pulled away. He was so scared I was going to hit him or something.
He looked genuinely surprised when I said it was all right. I'm a human being, for crying out loud.
