Us being the indy chicks we are, we thought: "Britpop Now! Great! A great line up and a gorgeous host!"
We were rewarded with half-hearted efforts from everyone apart from Elastica and Menswear.
We hate to say it, but even Blur didn't make the sparks fly.

REVIEW: DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE
This is the third instalment in the Die Hard series starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson (both from Pulp Fiction) and Jeremy Irons as the baddie.
Willis and Jackson are forced to play a game of Simon Says with Irons, or bombs will be triggered over New York.
It becomes a buddy-movie as the film goes on. It's definitely the hottest action film of the summer and the best Die Hard film so far.
