DEAR SERIOUS HEAVY METAL FAN If you want to get printed - stop sending Top Tens, especially ones that include A-Ha.

SARAH THE REDHEAD has been to Skeggy, or Skegness, with a few people with odd names, but had a "brilliant time".

MARVIN NASH'S EAR wonders what films like Reservoir Dogs would be like if cut to get a 'U' cert. Short.

PETRA has been chilling out by sitting in the fridge. No dear, you've not got quite the right idea!

BUT THE SCIENCE TEACHER WASN'T HAPPY

Well, what a day! Last day of school, ties were being cut or eaten and shirts Biroed to death with goodbye messages.

Not forgetting the water fights and stink bombs. All signs of never seeing the school again.

So why were we doing it when we've still got a year of school left to go?

VIRTUAL LIGHT BY WILLIAM GIBSON

Unrelated to his previous cyberspace trilogy, Gibson shows his skill with this book.

The story is not as strong as usual but this is compensated by the improved prose. The writing is more vivid and the characters portrayed better.

If you like cyberpunk, sci-fi or just good books, read this!

If you buy one album, buy this. From the single Call It What You Want to the live tracks and tongue-in-cheek tunes, MC Fusion kicks it with spacey, piano infused tunes and uncompromising lyrics

CTTN are a band prepared to take issue with the fascist right and to sacrifice overly commercial records for one that that has a purpose and message. A few 'zine writers could do with a listen.

FILM CENSORSHIP GETS AN AIRING

There should be certificates to stop younger viewers seeing some things which may in later life, have a dramatic and detrimental affect.

But 18 year olds and over should be able to watch what they want. The fact that the BBFC can ban or cut films is ludicrous to me.

How they can decide for us what we can and can't watch? Doesn't strike me as very fair.

DEAR 'ZINE

Is it me or is Married With Children uncannily similar to Lithium by Nirvana?

As far as I can tell the two intros are almost identical, except for the final three chords and a slight rhythm variation.

This leaves me with the opinion that not only are Oasis egotistical, irritating and talentless, but also rip-off merchants to boot, allegedly.
