LONELY TEASPOON would like to say Where's the summer? I think that was it. But we had nearly two weeks' worth!

THE RIDDLER Riddle me this - a clear cola backwards with a woman's opposite? Gee, that's a tricky one.

YELLOW CUCUMBER has noticed how bad the lyrics to Boom, Boom, Boom are. Did it really take all that much noticing?

SAM'S GIRL ponders why it is that bands ignore Northern Ireland on their tours. Don't ask me, dear.

OASIS - I'D RATHER DIE OF THIRST!

Yes, it's a justifiable backlash, as they're rubbish. They only got a number one 'cos teenyboppers now think indie is cool.

The drumming stunk, the guitar is boring and the songs all sound the same.

The lyrics are pap, the critics only like them 'cos they appeal to their masculine arrogance. I prefer Salad.

DEAR 'ZINE

Why do so many people stay in on a Friday and Saturday night?

It strikes me as being rather pathetic. If the high point of your life is watching Due South, something is horribly wrong.

By the way, if you're reading this and you can't get a ticket to Reading this year HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Catcher In The Rye, Going to Reading

I bet you stay out until after 12 too!

GOING OUT AT WEEKENDS! WHAT A REBEL!

REPLY TO CASINO GIRL

There is no debate: Menswear are manufactured and talentless.

Daydreamer didn't just grate - it was terrible. Calling their music mediocre is rather generous and comparing them to TT is insulting.

As for the fwoar factor you mentioned, who are you trying to kid? Bonehead Arthurs is a god compared to Menswear.

DEAR 'ZINE

I read the 'Zine every day and have noticed something very interesting.

Normally, when TT release a single, someone will write in and slate it. Then two hundred sad TT fans will reply saying how good it is.

So far two people have said the new single is rubbish, plus Paul Goddard, and there's not been a word. Even they can't defend Barlow's latest dross.
