MY wants Stephen Hendry's number so she can propose marriage. If she can't get it, anyone will do. Liked the postcard.

TATH AND BOB ask where Cheesy Hawkes and Bros are. Don't ask, they may come back, and we don't want that.

TWANG & PENNYWISE say Quark - cheer up, join the joy ride and party away. Remember, we're all magic friends.

BLADES wishes he/she had bought Bohemiam Rhapsody and Fool's Gold. Well what's stopping you?

ISN'T JUST A GAME. NO?

WASSUP 'ZINESTERS?

It occured to me that the there has been hardly anything about Eazy E's death in the mainstream press.

He died of AIDS on March 26 and like Kurt Cobain, he helped highlight the plight of a generation through music.

It's sad when a cultural icon's only obituary is on The Word, home of all that is banal and soundbitten.

Something's not right. Peace.

DEAR GREAT BIG OGRE BLOKE

Everyone knows how sad it is to be sexist. You know that new look Smash Hits? You're sadder than that.

I'm female and agree with WLW - who wants to do any of the things on the list? They're sooo constructive. Not.

But for your information, I can catch a ball, so nur-nur, na nur-nur!

SINGLE REVIEW 'MOTORBIKE TO HEAVEN' BY SALAD

The a-side is good, with glockenspiel keyboards and an orchestral close(!?). But b-side 'Diary Hell' is so excellent it should have been the a-side.

Salad flex their musical muscle with Stone Roses-esque guitars.

And go hell-for-leather in a splenetic, frenetic middle with brill drums, spaced-out keyboards and smashing glass.

TO SPACEY STARGIRL,

Yes, you're absolutely right! The charts are fixed! Press hold on your remote now because you may have to read many times before you understand.

What happens is this. A record is released, loads of people buy it and then, could it be magic, it gets to No One. It's the people, it's their fault.

They fix the charts when they buy records. I'm outraged.

I can see clearly now

A POEM

There's families living in a field,
They've gone weeks without a meal.
A whale waits in the witness box,
An evil hunter's in the dock.

All I shoot is time as it flies,
I open my head and let out my mind.
There's treasures at the end of the rainbow,
That no-one fights over to find.

Glow worm

I get your point, sure, but

DO YOU HAVE A FEVER OR SOMETHING?
