THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ARGUMENT
I used to enjoy Mega-Zine but now you don't give people a chance to voice their opinions. I'm sick of using stamps for letters that aren't printed.
You shouldn't start an argument or debate without letting both sides compete - it's unfair.
You're not meant to be biased - or had you forgotten?
Wets' No.1 Fan, Ayrshire
Er, you were saying...?
AND NO, WE HADN'T FORGOTTEN.
GIG REVIEW: MANIC STREET PREACHERS
I went to see the Manics at Sheffield's Octagon only having heard three of their songs. I wasn't that enthusiastic as I didn't know if I'd like them.
The atmosphere, the support and the band were all amazing, my only fault being that the show wasn't long enough. I know all the songs from two albums and am desperate for another local gig.
TT Fans - quit bopping: go out and buy "She Is Suffering".
Kate Cobain, Far Beyond Chaos
Blimey. Is she on the Manics' payroll?
COME ON MSPs, GIVE HER ANOTHER GIG!
I'D HAVE GOT AWAY WITH IT IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU MEDDLIN' KIDS...
OK. So who's going to have a good old moan with me about the new Scooby Doo?
No-one? Well, OK, I'll be a loner moaner because I prefer the old prog in which Shaggy wore the same clothes for at least 10 years!
Tracy Jacks, Lot L05, Magic America
Yeah, and how come "Scrappy" can speak?
ALL SCOOB CAN SAY IS "RAGGY!"
REPLY TO LET THE DANCE BEGIN
Nearly everyone suffers some kind of prejudice at one time or another, whether through sex, skin colour of musical tastes.
I TRY not to have any prejudice but when large groups of unprovoked ravers beat up and even hospitalise my metaller mates, it gets difficult.
For crying out loud, why do we hate one another so much?
Son Of A Gun, The Aero Zeppelin
A VERY valid point, Mr Of A Gun
THERE'S JUST NO NEED FOR IT
IT'S GUESS THE BAND TIME!
- It has 5 extremely talented members.
- They've made 2 highly successful LPs.
- The lead singer is an amazingly-gifted songwriter.
- They have millions of adoring fans who respect and admire them for their excellent musicianship and writing.
Yes, you've guessed it - Pearl Jam!
From an EWBTCIAST
From a what? No, never mind.
BUT IF YOU FANCY TELLING US...
AN ODE TO TAKE THAT
I hate Take That, I just don't care,
I'd like to grab them by the hair
And throw them, far, far away,
So they don't come back another day!
You're all so ugly,
You make me hurl,
And Mark, my dear,
You look like a girl!
Richie Sambora's Cowboy Hat, Bon Joviland
Poetry in motion, you might say.
