NOT A BAD SELECTION, DECCY!

DEAR 'ZINE,

If everyone who owns, did own, plans to own or perhaps just borrow from a friend called Bamber Frugelsphsphertz, a dropping pipette would admit that Denis Norden is funny, then Neil "My leg is quite weak but my" Armstrong might never have made it to the moon.

Makes you think, doesn't it?

Salford 80-Leeds 0, RL Heaven

Not really

ANOTHER GROUP TO LOOK OUT FOR IN '94

Although Grant Lee Buffalo received a certain degree of recognition last year, they never really achieved the status they deserve.

As one of the most unlikely groups to hit the scene, GLB caused quite a stir, with Michael Stipe declaring them to be one of his favourite groups.

Their album, Fuzzy, is packed with great tunes. Defo a potential biggie.

Angel of Harlem, Lovetown

A commonly-held view...

WHO ELSE THINKS GLB ARE SUPERB?

TO THE 'ZINE AUDIENCE

I've got to complain about the sad end of the music business (no, I'm not talking about Take That), I'm talking about their fans.

For God's sake, us non-fans've had enough of this stupid argument about who is better. Does it really matter? If YOU like their music, that's all that counts.

Can't we just accept the idea of TASTE?

The Fresh Princess of York

But we MUST have arguments!

Don't Therapy? sound like Metallica?

AND THEY SHOULD LOSE THE ?

DEAR 'ZINE,

Can't anyone see that Take That are just a bunch of useless no-hopers? Now I know that some 14-year-old girl will write back and say "They're great" or "I love Robbie" or some other rubbish.

They are just a bunch of spasticated ashtrays and believe me, they'll be gone in a year or two. Can't anyone listen to something with some DEPTH like Rage Against the Machine or House of Pain?

Rager Against Take That
