GIG REVIEW: TAKE THAT in BRUSSELS

Our 12-hour journey to Brussels was a total disaster, but seeing Take That in concert made up for it all.

They put on an amazing show and the atmosphere they create can't be described. They showed their appreciation for the support we gave them, making us very happy Thatters!

See them live and see what talent is!

CD REVIEW: WHATEVER by AIMEE MANN

Now this is what so-called pop music should sound like - great words coupled with memorable tunes. How radical!

When Elvis Costello praises another artist's lyrics you know they must be good.

So if any of you out there can tell me of three more heartfelt songs than Mr Harris or Stupid Thing, I'll vote Tory!

Voice of Reason, London

Well said!

REPLY TO LAMIA, ARCADIA

Oh PUH-LEEEASE! So you think you rule the 'Zine, huh? Well, I hate to tell you, but I'm not about to let some spaced-out lunatic loose on these pages.

You say you've "fought the powers of anti-imagination to gain creativity". WHAT creativity - I can't see any!

Unless you prove your creativity, I'm gonna lock you in Pandora's Box!

Joshua in His Tree

TOP POINT!

DEAR 'ZINE,

I've seen it all now. Music Snobbery on the 'Zine. I like Newman and Baddiel and Nirvana and Pearl Jam, but I went to an ordinary school and have NATURALLY red hair.

Seem to have blown that theory out of the water! One's music tastes have nothing to do with school. We'll be going back to Mods and Rockers next and fighting on the beaches. Let's have some respect on the 'Zine, please!

Modern Idiot, Cheap Seats

Music Snobbery IS the 'Zine. Respect??!

ALBUM REVIEW: HIS 'n' HERS by PULP

It seems like I've been waiting my entire life for this work of art. It was well worth the wait.

Each track has a great tune and Jarvis' lyrics top them off perfectly. The classic Babies alone makes this album a must.

If you're looking for catchy pop songs with meaning, look no further!
