The Mega-Zine Museum
April 12, 1994
DEAR 'ZINE,
So I jumped...
Only I didn't.
Instead I ducked
And soared and flirted
With the breeze
Caught air currents
Teased gravity
Fooled reality
I flew away from
Their petty lies
Forever...
Alive.

Hello?
HEY! YOUR LETTER COULD BE NEXT!
REPLY TO PRINCESS JASMINE
Yes - hurrah! Let's strike these puerile ignoramuses while they are at their weakest.
The 'Zine is being overrun by men. We, the women, must get an action group and together and within a month I bet we can wipe out the arguing and the sexist top tens, like Top Ten Babes.
I call for Lemon Candie to write. We shall overcome!

They're EVERYWOMAN - it's all in them!
'ZINE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR 'ZINE!
DEAR 'ZINE,
Please, please, please, please, please! Stop your incessant childish quarrelling over who is most worthy of being King of the 'Zine. Who cares?!
Have you consulted the people - do we WAANT a leader? FPOL? King of the Spuds? No, didn't think so!
Can't we debate something more worthwhile like football? Anyone noticed how gorgeous Lee Sharpe is?!?
Highbury's Queen Gunner
Oh puh-leeease!
ANY LIVELY DEBATE IS WORTHWHILE!

REPLY TO EVERYONE WHO HATES TAKE THAT
Admit it, you love TT really, don't you Don't be scared that it won't go with your "cool" image.
I'm sick of jealous boys slagging off TT, I wish they would just admit that they like them, instead of pretending to like Rave.
And don't say they don't care about their fans because it just simply isn't true.
Someone Trying to Make a Point
All jealous boys here admitted already!
BUT ALL FEMALES HERE HATE TT! WHY???
ALBUM REVIEW: FURTHEST FROM THE SUN by THE FAMILY CAT
This was released in 1992, but I bought it only recently and it is excellent.
Highlights include the chugging single Steamroller, River of Diamonds and the title track.
This is for anyone who likes a bit of tuneful indie guitar rock with meaningful, properly-sung lyrics.
Polly Harvey also sings backing vocals.
