DEAR 'ZINE,

Call me ignorant, but who are the following?

  • Manic Street Preachers
  • Inspiral Carpets
  • Blur

How can people argue over such non-important groups? Give it up guys, no one gives a damn!

And by the way, U2 are not overrated.

Bono's Trusty Servant, Planet Zooropa

You are truly obsessed!! CALMERS!!!

REPLY TO "I'M TOO MATURE FOR A PSEUDONYM"

Take That were built to create wealth for record companies via looks under the guise of "pop" music.

You have been brainwashed by the corporate pop powers. If you were hypnotised, the truth about the nuptials you subconsciously desire to share with Gary et al would be revealed.

Riled Mean Fairly Hipkid, Everywhere

Yup, top pseudonym you've got there!

A POEM TO COUNTER EVERY POEM

Why oh why send stupid poems
Over arguments which have a contradictory
Effect on the words "free speech"
I call this oppression and the poems
Self indulgence

No one gives a ****
What group you support and what
Compact discs you own
So stop having these little tantrums
As it is boring

A Girl and her Dictionary, Asylum

Them's fighting words - freestyle!

WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT POETRY??

ALBUM REVIEW: IN GORBACHEV WE TRUST by THE SHAMEN

This has to be one of the best Shamen albums out.

Colin and Will are politically charged guitar funkateers and get their message across by using hip hop rhythms and radio voices.

As well as dance tunes there are heart-melting songs in which Angus uses his sexy voice to the full.

The Goddess of LSI, Hyperspace

So they returned from those exorcisms??

GIG REVIEW: THE MISSION at THE FORUM

We feel sorry for you who couldn't make it. The whole night was fab! If you liked the band before, you'll fall in love with them all over again now!

The gig was SUPERB!! The atmosphere was fantastic, the music was harder...

Our own personal highlights were Tower of Strength and Dancing Barefoot.

Go and see them for yourselves!

Andy and Tina, Paradise City

Had to cut it short - enthusiasm plus!!
