The Mega-Zine Museum

PRELUDE
Suede... they've got it made? Maybe, but the real tests after the hype are the new material and the live performances.
Well, the new single Stay Together is a whirlwind of musical ecstasy and perfection. It zooms by leaving you breathless and gasping for more.
The live shows? I'll send you a review after the Blackpool gig on Feb 11 - I'm a true music fan, so will be impartial.
The Sometimes Wonderful Flower Child
I'm partial to a bit of Suede, myself!
DEAR 'ZINE
Oh yeah, Tori Amos - you're so original and talented. Love that song Cornflake Girl; no RUBBERBAND connections there, eh?
Why don't you change your name to Kate Shrub? That would be creative!!
Guy On The Wall, Essex
PS You're not related to Lenny Kravitz are you??
I like the cut of your jib, Guy!

ALBUM REVIEW: UNDER THE PINK by TORI AMOS
This album is spine-tingling. The haunting paean, Icide, is a taboo-challenging highlight.
The crowning glory is the 9-minute 34 seconds of Yes Anastasia. Tori's piano skips gracefully until thunderclap string arrangements explode, vaulting the track into an epic soundscape of aural ecstasy. Give your life a 'quake.
The Keeper of the Heart-Shaped Box
So, you either love or loathe Ms Shrub!
A NUTTY POEM
There once was a man from Jerutz
Who couldn't stop eating nuts
He became so nutty
He turned into putty
And started to throw up his guts!
The Girl In The Moon, Outer Space
So much tortured emotion, such angst!!!
