I agree with your dislike of Spin Doctors and 4 Non Blondes, they can't write songs at all. But Blind Melon are brilliant!
They aren't classed as "alternative" - critics have always said they can't be put in a group.
They're no scum - hippieish, yes, but they're REAl and being real is in!

Even in your darkest moods, this album will liven you up and make you feel great again.
