VIDEO REVIEW: STARSHAPED by BLUR

I must admit that I wasn't a great Blur fan until I saw them at Brighton Uni on Oct 16 and they were excellent. The video shows festivals they were involved in last year for one hour and then goes through their singles to date.

The best part for me was the Postman Pat theme. they're a great band who improve with each new single.

They'll last for a few more years yet!

The Player, W Sussex

Ah, Postman Pat - who can beat him?!

DEAR MEGA-ZINE

Whoever says you can't have varied taste in music must be very narrow-minded.

I've got The Stones, REM, the Eagles, Prince, The Doors, Primal Scream, Public Enemy, INXS, The Smiths, Nirvana, Stone Roses, 808 State, Pink Floyd, GN'R, The Levellers, Cream, Lenny Kravitz, The Shamen, The Jam, Bjork and The Kinks.

Remember, variety IS the spice of life!

Baby Jane, Utopia

Nil point for listing your collection!

GIVE US SOME SPICE - MAKE US LAUGH!!

DEAR 'ZINE

Even though I'm a devoted U2 fan, I can't help feeling sad about their change of image.

I loved Saint Bono and the way he believed in equal rights. I still love him now, but I would be devastated if he totally discarded his original style

I do feel the electronics are taking over the music, yet I'll always love them no matter how much they change.

An Emotional Schoolgirl, Paddington

Oh yeah? What if they become Take That?

GET PASSIONATE ABOUT SOMETHING!!!

DEAR MEGA-ZINE

There seems to be one thing everybody is forgetting - TALENT! All these bands being argued over DO have talent - whether you like the music they produce has nothing to do with it.

GN'R, Take That, Suede, Madonna, dance groups and any others you wish to mention. But you know who the most sarcastic one for slagging off groups is? The geezer under the white line, that's who!

Misery Eater, Sunny South-West

Yep we worship the air he breathes too!

THE WHITE LINE WARRIOR WILL RETURN!
