LIVE REVIEW: WET WET WET at the ASTORIA 2, LONDON
Marti Pellow! What else needs to be said? This man is, and always will be, Wet Wet Wet.
Ok, so the others play and add their little bit of charm, but Marty IS IT.
Starting at 8.30pm and finishing by 10, it was a sweet - but oh so short - set.
(More of a love letter so far!)
All their hits were there - from "Wishing" to "Shed A Tear" - delivered, as always, tongue-in-cheek.
The newie, "Julia Said", is a wonderful, floaty affair which well demonstrates Marti's unique vocals.
All in all it was a good night and fun was had by all, but it was over too quickly - just like the best of things.

I bought Simon Whitechapel's "Slaughter King" after reading a glowing review of it on Mega-zine.
The cover was very, very good, but the contents were horrid.
The first chapter made me feel sick and it got worse after that.
