ALBUM REVIEW: BECOME WHAT YOU ARE by THE JULIANA HATFIELD THREE
It's not new, but who cares? Open your eyes and acknowledge the greatest singing and songwriting talent around at the moment.
This album has it all. Pop perfection nestles snugly next to the rockier numbers. Power melts effortlessly into vulnerability as Juliana guides us expertly from one emotion to the next.
The Hooded Pen, Dark Mood
Beware the hooded one - it shall return
ODE TO MANIC STREET PRIESTESS
The beauty in your words is unrivalled
Life without you would be a bad perm
Too much makeup and a Haddaway Album
In other words,
Pathetic.
Like Take That
And their dire haircuts
Long live anti-social guitars,
Vocals with MEANING
And you

The POLL's under way! Don't be afraid!!
A REPLY TO SHEELA-NA-GIG
Thanks for replying solely to me, I'm very flattered. Anyway, I apologise for being so sarcastic towards you before. No offence!
I sincerely think Polly Harvey is a unique and great person in case you had any doubts and I have a lot of respect for her (I knew what your deity meant, by the way).
Hope you didn't take it too personally.
Lance, Swansea
Blech, it's all so sickly sweet today!

LIVE REVIEW: THE WILDHEARTS at NEWCASTLE MAYFAIR
Although The Wildhearts were only the support band, a lot of people had come to see them. They blasted off with Suckerpunch.
The pace never let up as they belted through another half dozen songs. They left the stage to yells of "MORE!", but that was all we got! Come back soon, lads, and give us a full show!
Steph, The Miles Away Girl
Hope they're reading this - c'mon lads!
