FIVE THINGS I HOPE HAPPEN BEFORE 1994

  1. Take That will realise that we've had enough and disappear
  2. REM will have a number one
  3. "Shiny Happy People" will become the national anthem
  4. A black Sindy doll will be made with proper proportions
  5. I will become more famous than the Queen

LIVE REVIEW: MANIC STREET PREACHERS at the National Bowl, Milton Keynes

As support to Bon Jovi, the Manics emerged on stage electrifying the audience of more than 60,000 with the excellent "Sleepflower".

The Preachers followed that with a string of their recent single releases with James Bradfield's lead guitar work and vocals especially good.

Then the Preachers launched into songs from their unforgettable debut album "Generation Terrorists", including the energetic "You Love Us".

Their superb 45-minute set gained the crowd's widespread appreciation and they proved they are second to none when playing live.

Dominik Diamond is a big Manics fan!

It was all right then, was it?

VIDEO REVIEW - PRINCE: HITS COLLECTION

This is an absolute must for fans of the Paisley one. It includes a slammin' new track called "Peach", plus classics like "Little Red Corvette" and early vid treats like "Dirty Mind".

In all there are 15 tracks and the hairdos range from Afro to typhoon!

I'm just a tad disappointed there's no "When Doves Cry".

Excellent viewing!
