You're right, who cares about Shakespeare and his boring 'boy loves girl' and 'everyone lives happily ever after in their big castle' palaver. We should be studying stuff by Kurt, Brian and Thom.
Here's what I did. We were asked to bring in a poem to read out and interpret. So I wrote the lyrics to 'Every You, Every Me' by Placebo. I changed the last line to 'think I fell in love with you' and left out the chorus. No one was any the wiser!

I belong to the last generation of 'Ziners (1995). WLW was exactly the same.
I was there when the B*ckch*t revolt began (honestly — it's still girlbands this, boybands that...)
There are two fundamental differences between B*ckch*t and 'Zine:
- We don't squabble like petty children.
- Their Eds (they need more than one) are, well, pieces of nothingness compared to our WLW!
