Argh! The pain of it all! I was in Virgin the other week with a mate (who is as much of a freak as me) and there was a group of trendies huddled around the S Cl*b/St*ps section.
Anyway, as we were leaving, their highlighted heads rose as one and they just stood STARING, STARING....
Unfortunately, I didn't have my air rifle with me so there was little I could do but give them the finger!

It's clear to me now that trendies aren't people at all, but evil zombie slaves created in a factory by evil trendie overlords. I now propose we direct a full scale war on the Trendie Manufacturing Plant and stop the trendie plague right now.
It'll be hard, no doubt they'll use their loudest Steps CDs, they may convert weaker 'Ziners to trendies, but if the TMP is destroyed... victory!

So, let me ask you, what is your problem with people liking the Manics? Loads of 'Ziners like the Manics but if they mention them, you have to slag them off. Be nice to the Manics please!
