MISS TRISTESSE Long time no see. Just a quick hello (was it the coloured paper that put you off?) Take it easy chicken. Coloured? That paper should come with a dimmer switch!

CHEEKY LORD CHUZZLE I'd like to thank Count Dracula for being a super maths teacher. One ha ha ha... Two ha ha ha...

ONYX Word of the week: Beard. TV prog of the week: Frasier. Idiot of the week: Noel Gallagher. Embarrassment of the week: The British Soap Awards. Best 'Ziner of the week: Rats, no more space.

WLW,

As 'Ziners keep mentioning Backchat, I thought I would have a look myself.

The thing that struck me most, apart from their mindless drivel, was their useless names. They seem to think that naming themselves after bits of celebs (eg: someone's hair) is cool.

Not so in my eyes. However, I did find that shouting at the screen, saying how useless they are, is a great stress reliever and would recommend it.

Secretive Freak

BROKEN BUBBLES,

My anthem is See My Vest by Mr Burns. I just love the line 'See this hat, 'twas my cat'. It never fails to make me laugh, and laughing is what I love doing best.

My second choice would have to be Ex-girlfriend by No Doubt. It's just so darn catchy.

By rights I should have five choices (having five legs and all), but I'll go now.

Mystical Starfish

I know, that No Doubt record IS catchy

AND ALMOST WORTHY OF BRITNEY

'ZINERS,

A few weeks ago, Mike Ward (ITV p142) pointed out that an anagram of Westlife is Wetflies.

I'd like to add some more to that by pointing out that an anagram of Steps is Pests, and that an anagram of Boyzone is Rubbish.

The Psychedelic Gloom

OK — any more for any more?

MAYBE ANAGRAMS OF OTHER 'ZINERS?

LOST TIME,

Have any other 'Ziners noticed the big bit of time that's been lost or stolen?

We all know, 12 noon is between morning and afternoon. Being halfway through the day this is known as midday.

So, midnight should really be halfway through the night. But it isn't, as afterwards it becomes the early hours of the morning!

Half of night time is missing, which is why nights go quick.
