ADONIS has been suffering from insomnia recently, but Ad, putting pictures of yourself all around your boudoir can surely only lead to nightmares.
THE PARTICLE MAN wants to point out to my mate on p444 that "1977" was not Ash's debut album, it was "Trailer". Mr 444 was devastated of course... NOT!

DEAR IRON LION
Just what do you think you're doing? As if removing the "confused" segment of your identity wasn't enough, you then had the impertinence to remove the "antelope".
Why? You were the spokesman for the confused, then for the antelope. Now all you are is a metallic figurine only fit to sit on an old lady's mantelpiece.
And as for AFKA Gonzo - shame on all you name changers!

SOME SUPERMARKET OBSERVATIONS
- Some parents take their children there to shout at them.
- People are trolley magnets. The trollies work fine when no one is around, but they go wonky when touched by the human hand.

Where do you shop?

DEAR 'ZINE
Ever been in WH Smith? Then surely you must have noticed that there is always a veritable carnival of people there with the sole purpose of reading magazines in peace.
They then walk out of the shop empty-handed, having read contentedly all the mags they wished to read without the burden of having to buy one. So how does WH Smith manage to make a profit?

GIG REVIEW: BOYZONE, Bristol, May 13
I'm a bit too old for Boyzone but I managed to get a ticket, one of 1,800 lucky souls who did.
The band have played Bristol three times now. The show was well organised, but it was a bit like watching someone seriously copying Take That - dancing, lighting and suits were similar.
Despite this, it was good. They can sing, even their music was real.

DEAR 'ZINE
George Michael's publicity people have been busy, haven't they? His new album was surrounded by hype.
No offence George, but has anyone noticed that Ash (amazing band, cool music...) went straight to No1 in the album chart with 1977? Thought not!
Ancient Chinese proverb says: Talented indie rock band not get publicity like rich people or boy band.
