Why are some names shortened into words they sound nothing like? It's stupid.
Take people called Robert. Why are they called Bob? It might sound better but that's not the point.
Or how about William changing to Bill? Silly! And as for Richard changing to Dick, it's nearly unbearably strange!

Right! This is my first letter and I think we should sort some things out.
- If I'm not best 'Zine writer for '96 there will be some trouble.
- Savo's a decent bloke. He often looks after the kids next door and reads them some fairytale footy stories.
- I had a lot of plans for my letter but I've forgotten loads. Forgive me.

Maybe the name didn't work. Or could my writing paper have been too high a standard for WLW? Who knows? Perhaps my level-headed thinking wasn't clear.
Whatever the reason, I am hopefully here to stay with my lovely name and my outrageous ideas.
