QUEEN OF THE POTATO PEOPLE says Gina, Livin' on a Prayer, is scared of aubergines and runs around the kitchen screaming "Kill the crispy bits"!!!!

JUBILEE wants to know what the big baddies are called in Fraggle Rock as it is becoming an obsession.
THE VIOLET SUNFLOWER asks why the guy in the Waterseal ad is so stroppy.

IT CAN BE VERY PAINFUL, YOU KNOW
I AGREE, ALMOST
Yes, the Britpop programme lacked a certain something. The choice of bands was entirely arbitrary, dictated by people who have an attention span of about four seconds.
Where were Suede and Oasis and countless other bands that have proved themselves as part of the New Wave?
And that Sleeper song was an Elastica rip-off. Not a wise move in my book. And Echobelly? Purleeaase.
Sun Hat.
Yeah, but Jarvis was beyond bliss

A FAIRY STORY
"I've got an idea," said John to Dave."
Let's start up a business. We'll take one line from a well-known tune.
"We'll repeat it lots of times, really fast and at the end we'll get all of our mates to shout 'Jungle-ist Posse!' down a microphone."

DEAR MEGA-ZINE
I read somewhere that the new film Waterworld had $200 million spent on it.
What were the film-makers thinking about? Don't they realise that the money could have been spent on worthy causes? Try Bosnian refugees or the homeless.
When will they wake up to the fact that they are selfish idiots wasting money?

So how much is enough?
WHERE DO WE DRAW THE LINE, DIZ?
ENOLA GAY COME HOME
How come so many people think it was morally acceptable to drop bombs on Japan? We take it for granted we were in the right.
Poeple always talk about the Japanese "mentality" - honour, pride and self-sacrifice. Yet we think the same principles are part of Brit spirit.
We rely on Japanese technology but still think of them as the "Evil Empire". Time to bury the hatchet.

ERNIE AND BERT - SESAME STREET
Bert represents the repressive society in which we live, dashing humanity's (Ernie's) hopes with damning phrases like "Go away Ernie, I'm reading".
Ernie represents repressed Youth in his rakish jumper and elliptical head. He also provides much-needed humour.
They truly show that life imitates Art. Keep up the good work, guys.
