BAGSY OASIS FOR THE NUMBER ONE

Noel Gallagher
Is sitting on a cloud
Seeing everything, hearing everything,
And telling us about it
With the best riffs and tunes you've
Ever heard,
Creating massive love-vibe
Head explosions for everyone

He is a bit amazing,
The rest of them are all right too.

Bobsie Taylor, Sheffield

Noel is definitely on some cloud

REVIEW - HORSE RIDING ON HOLIDAY

It's a tradition to go horse riding while on holiday in my family, so I couldn't really avoid it.

Everything was going Jackanory when the horse I was on took a shine to a prickly bush and walked through it, leaving me to pry out the embedded thorns in my legs.

Apart from that mishap, everything else went OK.

ALBUM REVIEW - ROYAL TRUX

Highly critically acclaimed but ignored by the indie kids, Royal Trux can only be described as rock 'n' roll, very Rolling Stones.

With subtle Soundgarden undertones, there's even a hint of Vintage '77.

The combination of styles and textures reminds me of early Sonic Youth. Strange and different, but good.

Jennifer Jones.

Sounding like every other band

WHAT'S THE POINT?

THAT THAT-RIP

I came to terms with Credit To the Nation using a well known Nirvana song, but now I hear TT are even going to smash out a few Nirvana melodies on their tour. For me, this is the limit.

I am tired of hearing pop-type versions of perfectly good songs, and I am sure others would agree with me.

What next - TT wanting to team up with Pavarotti? Wake up. Robbie has!

PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERIMENT REVIEW

"Obedience to authority" has been called the gravest comment on human nature.

It revolved around people receiving electric shocks from others being instructed by men in white coats.

Get a psychology textbook and weep at the grim truth about human nature.
