ALBUM REVIEW: THE HOLY BIBLE by MANIC STREET PREACHERS
The Manics have a different sound on this album. Lyrically, Richey has become more introspective and songs like Die In The Summertime and Faster are increasingly disturbing.
The only feel good tracks are the more Nicky influenced If White America and PCP.
Musically, this is darker too, although you learn to love it after a few plays.

I want to talk Wet Wet Wet and educate fellow 'Ziners to the wonderful, if underrated, members of the band like the mean and moody mystery man, Neil Mitchell, the happy go lucky confidant, Tommy Cunningham, and the cool laid back hippieness that is Graham Clark.
These are the real stars who outshine Mr Pellow in every way. There's more to them than the smug Marti.

We obviously have our wires crossed because I made up the name, I don't even read Viz and I don't treat women like doormats - we must have different ideas of what a feminist is.
In my gender review, I pointed out only negative stereotypes of women because that is what was included in the species review (neg things).
