REPLY TO JO, TERRORVISION LOVER

I have had enough of all you metal heads - will you just quit slagging off ravers?!?!

In my time of reading the 'Zine, I don't think I have seen one letter from a raver slagging off metal heads.

And another thing, there are few rave songs that are repetitive to the extent you make out, and the ones that are, we hate too. No music is perfect.

No, but some are more perf than others!

THE 'ZINE - PERF OR VERY VERY GREAT?

ALBUM REVIEW: CARNIVAL OF LIGHT by RIDE

Pink Floydian in its gargantuan meanderings, Carnival of Light is a staggering bewilderment of genius musicianship.

A beautifully redefined Ride deliver 12 pieces of immaculate towering retro-experimentalism, epitomised by epic masterpieces like Birdman and Moonlight Medicine which make for one of the most vital albums of 1994.

SINGLE REVIEW REVOLby MANIC STREET PREACHERS

Returning to the punk sensibilities of yesteryear, the Manics come up with yet another anger-inspiring song from their new album, making it the most eagerly-awaited album of 1994.

Trotsky, Chamberlain, Stalin, Napoleon and Yeltsin all get a mention in this chunky, punky poetic masterpiece. And not a hint of any New Wave bandwagon jumping, which makes a pleasant change.
