FORTHCOMING SINGLE REVIEW: FALL DOWN by TOAD THE WET SPROCKET
One of the most distinctively named bands is back with an REM-esque single that grooves melodically along like the brighter side of Gin Blossoms' Found Out About...but with typically ace vocal harmonies and jangly guitars.
Taken from the new album, Dulcinea, it won't change the world, but then again why should it? Three and a half enjoyable, well-written minutes.

Something's got to change the world!
WOULDN'T IT BE GOOD IF...
- TT all came down with a throat bug
- Madonna realised what clothes are
- The 80s never existed
- Your parents realise Elvis is dead
- John Major resigned
- School was optional
- Car alarms/doorbells were destroyed so people couldn't make rave music
Joshua, In His Tree
Yeah, and there was peace all over...
CWS NEWS
And now the main points again... Jack Charlton quits football to become new vocalist in Pearl Jam. Mike McReady says: "He had the tortured look and we needed someone interesting up front."
The UK's Life President, Vic Reeves, today signed the surrender to the Free State of East Anglia in exchange for a groan tube and a jar of turkey seepage.
In lighter news, John Major died.
