REPLY TO GEORGE MICHAEL'S ENEMIES

Give the guy a break, okay?! Of course he was an idiot to sign a 20-year contract, but he was right to speak out against his loss of creative freedom.

All over this world, people's rights and pleasures are being taken away by the power barons who want to destroy freedom and enjoyment.

It's time for us to stand up for ourselves!

The Muso, This Beautiful Planet

Absolutely!

WE ALL DO IDIOT THINGS, DON'T WE?

REPLY TO ALL RAVERS

Metal will always rule the music world. It always has and it always will. Ever since the emergence of Black Sabbath and the Rolling Stones, metal has thrived.

Heavy metal has that certain magic and will outlive rave because rave will leave us as quickly as it came.

A new sound will come along and most ravers will jump on the bandwagon. Heavy metal fans will remain loyal and triumphant.

Angus Young, Odsal Stadium, Bradford

Well reasoned, well-put... sort of!

DOES ANYONE THINK RAVE WILL WIN OUT?

CD REVIEW: COMFORTER by COMPULSION

This could be described as a punk album - I'd describe it as a decent rock album.

The opening track Rape Jacket "punches you in the face"! But it prepares you for a Rocky Ride!!

Air-raid For The Neighbours, Yancy Dangerfield's Delusions and Basketcase are among the best tracks.

Generation Terrorist, Tennessee

Is the opening track a ballad?

WISE WORDS

If everyone blames others for all the faults in the world, then who are the ones who are doing the wrong? Are we all hypocrites?

If we objectify the faults in ourselves we become consciously aware of those faults, so we can overcome them.

If we lay blame on others, we avoid being consciously aware of our faults, so we will never overcome them.

Wise Guy

Being aware doesn't ALWAYS equal cure!

SOMETIMES OTHERS ARE TO BLAME!

DEAR 'ZINE,

Modern Idiot was right, let's give the theme days a go, after all:

"Don't knock it until you've tried it"
"Try it, you might even like it"
"It is better to have theme day-ed and lost than never to have theme day-ed at all."

And most important, and one for us all,

"The only valid criticism is one born of experience".

Sheela-N-Gig, Dyfed

Bit late now, though!

THE 'ZINE'S GETTING PHILOSOPHICAL!

DEAR 'ZINE,

Although I have much admiration for Bobby Charlton and admit he was a great footballer and is a nice bloke, I feel his knighthood is a joke.

Knighthoods should be reserved for people who have made a genuine contribution to the world through acts of goodwill.

Knighting a man because he was good at kicking leather speres into the back of a net is ridiculous.

Cheers,

Opinionate Edd

Ooh! Controversial!

THE 'ZINE DESERVES TO BE KNIGHTED!
