Anyone can make a rave track. Just sample a beat, a voice and a car alarm. Mix together. Repeat meaningless vocals 50 times and BINGO! Great rave track!
The difference between rave and rock is rave is a sound while rock is music.

You may think metallers look like freaks and that rave sounds better than heavy metal... fair enough.
But what remains a fact is that it requires some degree of skill to play a guitar or drums while any gimboid can programme a drum machine as per rave.
And what's more entertaining live? A band playing or a couple of blokes operating pre-programmed computers?
