THERE'S NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE!
DEAR 'ZINE,
Three cheers for the latest karaoke craze that's sweeping my street.
If you like karaoke, all you have to do to get it free in your living room is press 888 when TOTP is on.
Sing along to all your favourites like Doop, Roxette and all that rubbish and you can finish off Simon Mayo's sentences for him which would be annoying if he found out.
Noah Armin, Manhattan
A bozo says what.
GOR - NEVER KNEW THAT ONE! TRY IT!
FORGET THE BRITS, OSCARS AND THE REST, HERE ARE THE 'ZINE AWARDS!
Best Contributor | Ionic Smeghead | (because he realises how rubbish Bjork is) |
Worst Contributor | Goddess of LSI
Wittiest Contributor | Me, of course!
Most Boring Contributor | The Deceiver, Felixstowe
Best Sarcasm | White Line Warrior | (can't be beaten, but runners up are Riled, Mean Fairly Hipkid and Mark Owen's Tastebuds) |
Queen of the 'Zine
Phew - that time already?
WHY AM I ALWAYS THE LAST TO KNOW?!
DEAR 'ZINE,
Has anyone else out there noticed how similar the TT defenders' letters sound?
It's just a thought, but perhaps they all share the same brain cell...?
The Pumpkin Smasher, Newport
PS Death to all slug abusers!
HELP! I can't stop laughing
GIG REVIEW: THE WONDERSTUFF at MANCHESTER APOLLO
After seeing them, I felt compelled to write. The band were in top form.
The very first song sent the crowd into a frenzy. They played all my fave songs.
Miles in his usual fashion captivated the audience. They definitely knew how to ensure we all left feeling on a high.
This event will certainly be looked back on as one of my highlights of '94. They're the best live band ever!
The Manchester Child
Maybe even the highlight of your LIFE!
THE 'ZINE - IT'LL ROCK YOUR WORLD!
TO LOVECHILD, HIPPYLAND
I saw your Top Ten the other day
And, Lovechild, I need to say
I think you're cool and I hope to see
More of your stuff on the 'Zine
I want to know more about you
So I hope you'll write in soon
From your fellow 'Ziner, you know him well
Yep, it's me, the FPOL!!!
The Fresh Prince of Luton
He just can't get enough!
HE'S EVERY 'ZINER - IT'S ALL IN HIM!
