TOMORROW - Most Fanciable Person, Best Mega-zine Contributor

Mega-zine's back to normal on Dec 29!

CATEGORY - BEST SINGLE

WINNER: PRAY (TAKE THAT)

2ND PLACE: RUNAWAY TRAIN (SOUL ASYLUM)

COMMENT: This was hardly a revelation - especially when you read on today and see who's won Best Album and Best Band!

RUNNERS-UP: Take That nearly completed a one-two with Relight My Fire a close third. Creep from Radiohead and Eternal's Stay trailed strongly.

Honourable mentions: REM, Bryan Adams

CATEGORY - BEST ALBUM

WINNER: EVERYTHING CHANGES

2ND PLACE: SUEDE (SUEDE)

COMMENT: Again, no surprises here! Nice to see Brett and the lads scoop second place - even if they were way behind.

RUNNERS-UP: East 17's Walthamstow did well to pip Bryan Adams' So Far So Good and Smashing Pumpkins' Siamese Dream. Nirvana's In Utero sneaked in.

Saddest vote: Greatest Hits - Kylie!

CATEGORY - BEST BAND

WINNER: TAKE THAT

2ND PLACE: REM

COMMENT: The famous five completed today's hat-trick polling as many votes as all the other bands put together!

RUNNERS-UP: Nice to see Michael Stipe's men beating off Suede, the Pet Shop Boys, East 17, Nirvana and U2. REM's "Everybody Hurts" was a fine single.

Honourable mention: M People
