WINNER: RED DWARF VI
2ND PLACE: NEWMAN AND BADDIEL IN PIECES
COMMENT: Phew! This category ended up closer than expected thanks to Rob and Dave putting in a late spurt.
RUNNERS-UP: The winners were safely ahead of The Big Breakfast with Home and Away leading the soap challenge and The Word coming in a strong fourth.

CATEGORY - BEST ACTOR
WINNER: RIVER PHOENIX
2ND PLACE: KEANU REEVES
COMMENT: Had it not been for a late sympathy vote for the late River, the wooden star of Bram Stoker's Dracula would have clinched this category.
RUNNERS-UP: Tom Cruise came in third - just ahead of Kevin Costner. Hunky Harrison Ford was a strong fifth.
It's obvious 75% of voters were girls!
