Let's put a stop to all this Smiths vs Manics stuff. Just look at the difference between their fans.

Manics fans have the courage and strength to stand out and be different.

Smiths fans are wasters who aren't prepared to face up to the fact that their idols are sad, tired, precious, boring musicians with no passion or new ideas. The fans are unable to move on.

It gets on my nerves when "trendies" write in commenting on how good these bands are who no one has heard of anyway (students make up the majority).
