VIDEO REVIEW - TAKE THAT/THE PARTY, LIVE at WEMBLEY

This video is the best thing I've seen all year. It features one of the July concerts at Wembley as well as loads of backstage stuff.

All of the boys' hits are on here, as well as a Motown medley.

Needless to say, the singing and dancing are excellent throughout and this is a must for any TT fan!

Dear Mega-zine,

PLEASE can we bring the 'zine back down to earth?!

I am sick of reading all this "deep and meaningful" indie/metal nonsense you insist on printing - it's getting very boring.

These pathetic squabbles over Nirvana and Pearl Jam etc are just as infantile as any fight over E17, BBI and TT!

The Watford Lass

Yeah, but we love a good squabble?

MY TOP 4 SONG LYRICS

  1. Feed my brain with their so-called standards/
Who says that I ain't right? - Metallica

Me... Warp Asylum

Hmm, they sum up metal really. Huh?

Dear Mega-zine,

You all seem quite happy fighting for the cause of your fave band, but have you ever wondered what it'd be like if we didn't have the choice we do?

Why not fight for worthier causes? What about the fight against racism, homophobics and the prejudice against travellers?

Divert your anger.

The dancer before the storm (Bedford)

Whoops, bit of politics there!

BOOK REVIEW: THE SLAUGHTER KING by SIMON WHITECHAPEL

I bought this book because I liked the cover, but even with a title like that, I wasn't expecting what I found inside.

If you think Clive Barker goes over the top - think again - this is well OTT!

It's a story of a serial killer and a female police officer who has to track him down.

It's like a horror movie on paper and I loved it.

Vincent Price's stepdaughter, Blackburn

Never judge a book by it's cover, eh?
