Openers Eugenius were lukewarm, second support Soul Asylum scorching.
The 'Heads brought the house down. Literally. Just five songs in and a short break was needed to fix the stage which had buckled under pressure from a near-hysterical crowd.
Not one dud song - just continuous, perfect, punky pop nuggets. Zesty.

Why oh why are Freakpower not at Number One in the charts?
Turn On, Tune In And Cop Out is the best song I've heard this year by far. With its jazz/dance fusion, this is modern, happening music and should be an anthem to anyone with an iota of taste.
It's an ideal song to either chill or freak out to. And if you haven't heard the Pizzaman mix, you haven't lived!
