LIVE REVIEW: SUEDE, EXETER LEMONGROVE FEBRUARY 25
To promote their debut album due out in late March, Suede are currently touring the UK's smaller venues.
At the Lemongrove they more than proved themselves worthy of the "Best New Band" honour that much of the music press has awarded them.
In short, Brett Anderson and co were at their offensive, controversial and musical best.
Being the exhibitionist he undoubtedly is, there was a lot of communication between Brett and the audience.
His familiar black, open, half-way-down his chest vests were present, but often ripped off by exuberant fans.
They played all three of their singles, including current hit "Animal Nitrate". They really were excellent, and the album looks very promising.
